lol, there's another one that i used in Runescape a few months ago, not really an old term, but:

jacked: i made it up, my friend named Jack lost all his money in EQ2, so in Runescape whenever someone loses everything, we say that the person got "jacked"

terms that make me groan:
cyber-
virtual reality
virtual anything
any new eThing

It's also sad when high-profile newscasters and anchorpeople try to explain "new" concepts like "blogs" - as if 90% of the public were as out-of-touch as they aparently are.

My favorite little intarwebism is Asshat.
This describes anyone I run into that thinks they know more about something than a person who spends a lot of time with it.

Accounting: "Hey, did you here about that new Smart-house thing? I hear it is like the newest thing to help out the disabled people."

Engineering: "I was working on that back in the '80s as my thesis, asshat."

How to make outdated terms

#1. Pick any prefix at random:

cyber-
web-
net-
e-
i-
virtual-
inter-
digit-

#2. Add it to any suffix at random:

-scape
-space
-net
-reality
-web
-cast
-ware

#3. Congratulations! You are now a virtual-cyberpunk-virtuoso with a handle on the new lingo - just insert your new word randomly into conversation!
